"Mini Celeste and Luna Starfield: The Legendary Catch" One fine afternoon in Gridania, the inseparable duo of tiny adventurers—Mini Celeste and Luna Starfield—marched to the river with fishing rods twice their size and enough snacks to feed a chocobo army.
“We are professional fishers today,” announced Mini Celeste, adjusting her oversized fishing hat.
“Yes,” Luna added with dramatic flair, “today we catch glory, destiny, and possibly lunch.”
They picked a cozy spot near the bridge, cast their lines… and immediately tangled them together.
“Teamwork!” Luna said cheerfully, as both rods launched sideways into a bush.
After a brief wrestling match with a very aggressive squirrel, they reset and cast again—this time successfully into the river.
The current was calm, the sun was warm, and birds chirped sweet songs above them. It was perfect.
Until Luna’s rod bent violently.
“I got something! I GOT SOMETHING!!”
She reeled with all her might—her little feet digging into the dirt, her eyes wide, her hat flying off dramatically—until something flew out of the water and smacked Mini Celeste in the face.
A soggy, mossy, old leather shoe.
Luna gasped. “It’s... hideous.”
Mini Celeste held it up. “It’s vintage.”
At that moment, an elderly Elezen wandered by, squinting at the shoe.
“My stars... That’s my shoe! I lost it in the river twenty years ago!”
There was a long pause.
“...You haven’t changed it since then?” asked Luna, horrified.
“It was my lucky fishing shoe!” he cried, hugging it to his chest.
He rewarded them with a single, wrinkled jellybean and a long, confusing story about a fish that stole his dignity.
Mini Celeste and Luna packed up their gear, feeling strangely victorious.
“Didn’t catch a fish,” said Mini.
“But we made history,” said Luna proudly.
And from that day on, they called themselves:
"The Sole Survivors."
