A group of women, clad in white staged a solidarity walk in support of the emergency rule in Rivers State on Monday, while declaring their support for the sole administrator, Ibok-Ete Ibas. The women held placards with inscriptions that read, “State of emergency is constitutional” and “Prosecute the bombers of the Rivers Assembly.

Reactions have trailed a N300 million payment by the Rivers State government to the Nigerian Bar Association.

In Borno State, a video of a young boy being brutally flogged by a man identified as Bukar Modu has caught the attention of the state governor, Professor Babagana Zulum.
