This was the first of two public workshops (July 15) to discuss the City's ongoing Stormwater system assessment, flooding mitigation, and the actions needed to adapt to sea level rise. It was an opportunity for the public to share their past experiences with flooding events to help guide the development of the Stormwater Master Plan. Issues to be discussed: sea level rise, flooding, saltwater intrusion, groundwater table, storm systems, water quality, storm surge, low-lying elevations, backflow flooding, high tides, infrastructure and resilience.
