This storm was different.
Mainly because of the place where I was. That lonely tree...
The mountains in the distance covered in rain. The rustle of the tall grass around me.
It was surreal.. but not scary. I felt calm even though I was a little afraid of the lightning but they where far away. I didn't think about anything, I just finally enjoyed it. When the sun came out and the sky brightened again, I thanked God for this. For being able to experience something like this. These storms and nature itself will humble you. It reminds you that no matter how superior you feel and how much you think you have things under control, God always has the final say.
