Dean Garcia is most famously the versataille virtuoso, sonic genius and brainchild of 'CURVE'. A band that Radio 1 DJ John Peel tipped as the next big thing in the 90's. Rick Beato featured trheir song 'Horror Head' in his top 20 bass sounds of all time. Along with gorgeous vocalist Toni Halliday and the talented Debbie Smith on guitar, Curve worked with Mark "FLOOD" Ellis as producer and Alan Moulder as mix engineer. Two iconic names of the production world. Kevin Shields from My Bloody Valentine has been a long time supporter of the band and offered his services on two songs on the 'Gift' album from 2001; The song 'Perish' and 'Want More Need Less'. Dean Garcia was also a member of 'Eurythmics' in the 1980's as a bass player; his primary position in Curve, even though he did play everything in the studio. He currently continues to work with his daughter Rose in his project 'SPC ECO' that has been around since the late 2000's. Dean did not wish for his face to be seen in this interview, and therefore, I respected his wishes and we agreed to conduct an audio only interview. Thankyou Dean :)
