Here he stitches together what sounds like the smokier, late night shift; the stamina crew high on creation, after getting the more arranged tracks to tape, keen to keep playing; fatigue opening forgotten primal pathways to jazz's Afro-ancestry & the raw, ritual percussion urging the last musicians standing towards a rare modern state of group consciousness & spiritual awareness.
