History:"After a 1986 stint with the early lineup of The Children's Zoo, former Naked and the Dead drummer David Patti formed The Ochrana in 1987 with Guy Richards Smit (formerly of Addictive Manifesto). They soon added flange-happy guitarist Arrow Kleeman and fellow Lismar Lounge denizen Diane Davis on bass, and the result was an opaque smokedrift of droning riffs and tribal rhythms, crowned by Smit's dark croon."
