Andy started out his musical career on guitar until in '97 free parties, Nu Skool Breaks and a brand new 303 changed everything. Recognising that he had found his calling, Andy packed himself off to the ACM in Guildford to get his hands dirty with some serious production kit. No sooner was he there than he met James Good, his future label mate, Semtech, and the two locked horns in a noisy game of one-upmanship that was to be the beginning of the Control Breaks sound.
These days you'll find Andy glued to his computer and should you be fortunate enough to distract him long enough for a chat he'll probably tell you of nights checking out the competition at Fabric, ambitious plans for future projects and his admiration for Kraftwerk, Adam Freeland and Giorgio Morodor.

Andy comenzó su carrera musical con la guitarra hasta que en el 97 las fiestas gratuitas, los Nu Skool Breaks y una 303 nueva lo cambiaron todo. Al darse cuenta de que había encontrado su vocación, Andy se fue al ACM de Guildford para ensuciarse las manos con un buen equipo de producción. Nada más llegar, conoció a James Good, su futuro compañero de sello, Semtech, y ambos se enzarzaron en un ruidoso juego de superioridad que sería el comienzo del sonido Control Breaks.
Hoy en día puedes encontrar a Andy pegado a su ordenador y, si tienes la suerte de distraerle lo suficiente para charlar con él, probablemente te hablará de las noches que pasa mirando a la competencia en Fabric, de sus ambiciosos planes para futuros proyectos y de su admiración por Kraftwerk, Adam Freeland y Giorgio Morodor.
