Gabriele Poso, Italian virtuoso percussionist, multi- instrumentalist talent, dj and producer. Poso is an artist with a strong musical and spiritual vision, taking cues from jazz, soul and Afro-Latin music from an early age; the effervescent Gabriele Poso has nurtured his musical reach around the world for many years. Growing up in Lecce in the bottom of the boot heel in Italy, not far from mother Africa, explains his inspiration and deep love for percussion. Gabriele’s formative years took him from Rome to Puerto Rico and Havana. The years of understanding and crafting his musical knowledge earned him an impressive catalogue of releases with labels like Yoruba Records, Soundway and Wonderwheel with his latest album "Tamburo Infinito" released in 2021. Poso is a talent in full bloom and his signature energetic performances are sure to reach the very depths of your being. His equatorial sounds of the magical unspoken language of percussion and rhythm keep winning over audiences with every performance around the globe.

In this episode, Poso explores tracks which span several genres and continents, tied together with the ancient, visceral connection we all share with the magical, unspoken language of the drum.
