India Successfully Tests Akash Prime Missile System in Ladakh | Subscribe to Firstpost | N18G

The Indian Army successfully conducted trials of the indigenously developed Akash Prime air defence system at an altitude of over 15,000 feet in the Ladakh sector on Wednesday. The test was carried out by the Army Air Defence, along with senior members of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). During the trials, the surface-to-air missiles scored two direct hits on very fast-moving target aircraft.
