From their posthumous self-titled album 'Vane' released in 1983 by 'A Real Kavoom' records.
Vane were a band from Chelmsford, England. They were active between 1979–1982. They were named after their vocalist, James Vane. They released 1 single in 1980 called 'Glamorous Boys'. This featured 2 tracks in a Synth-Pop / New Wave style. After the band broke up, the record label 'A Real Kavoom' released a self-titled album featuring 5 tracks. These tracks featured a darker post punk vibe in contrast to their debut single. The tracks feature a "funky bass backing up flanged guitar lines, Trippy keyboards and with vocals reminiscent of Peter Murphy of Bauhaus crossed with David Sylvian of Japan."
James Vane – Vox
Phil Pickering – Bass
Clive Roberts – Guitar
Colin Woolway – Drums
Paul Chousmer – Keyboard
Mick Dabrowski - Keyboard
This tape featured no noise reduction, so I have added noise reduction and remastered the audio slightly.
