In the video im making a 6 inch but if you want it in a 9 inch just DOUBLE the recipe for both BATTER and FROSTING.
here is the recipe so you aren't wandering looking for it.
HEAT-350F Time- 17-19Min (for 6" cakes) 24-30 (for 9" cakes)
ALWAYS CHECK WITH THE TOOTHPICK TO ENSURE BEST BAKE.
Recipe for 6 inch cakes-
1/2C Whole milk
2teaspoon vinegar
1 1/4C AP flour
1/4teaspoon salt
1/2teaspoon baking soda
1Tablespoon cocoa powder
1/4C softened butter
1/2C Sugar
3oz oil of choice (I use avocado oil)
1 large egg
1teaspoon vanilla extract
1Tablespoon red food dye
recipe for 9 inch cakes-
1C whole milk
4teaspoon vinegar
2 1/2C AP flour
1/2teaspoon salt
1teaspoon baking soda
2Tablespoon cocoa powder
1/2C softened butter
1C sugar
6oz oil of choice
2 large eggs
2teaspoon vanilla extract
2Tablespoon red food dye
Frosting for 9 inch cake OR (divide all these by 1/2 for 6" cakes)
8oz cream cheese softened
8tablespoons butter softened
2C powdered sugar
4Tablespoons heavy cream
2teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2teaspoon salt
