From a young age, Charlie and Arienne realized the healing influence of music. Leaders in the field of psychology and mental health, they have made its their life’s mission to promote comfort and inspiration to those who need it most. Never has there been a more important time to have the music of all backgrounds be validated and heard so that we can connect as a people using music as the natural universal language. Growing up in Lousiana , Arienne found a deep connection to music and vocal stylings, listening to songs rooted in the pain of the Deep South. Encountering her own share of childhood struggles, foster care, and abuse she was relentless in her journey to create a voice for the voiceless and finding both music and a career in psychotherapy as way to achieve both...never realizing that the love of her life was a mere block down the road when her struggles were the deepest. Though she would never meet him until graduate school, she always felt a longing. When they met, the first thing he needed to know was, “have we met somewhere before?”.
