Hi friends, welcome back to CADable! This is Engr. Ibrahim Omer, and in today's tutorial, I'm excited to show you how to align text on a curve in AutoCAD.
Here’s what we'll do today:
We'll kick things off by drawing a simple reference line to set up our workspace. Next, I'll draw a smooth curve and then remove the reference line since it's no longer needed. I'll use Express Tools directly with the ARCTEXT command to select the curve.
In the pop-up window, you can either type your text or copy and paste it—whatever works best for you. We'll adjust the text settings and tweak the properties until everything looks just right. And finally, if you like, you can delete the curve once your text is perfectly aligned.
That's it for today's tutorial! I really hope you find it useful. If you have any questions or need help, please drop a comment below—I love hearing from you.
