On November 18, 1993, one of the most iconic acoustic performances of all time took place on MTV’s Unplugged Series.

It would see Nirvana, arguably the biggest Grunge band of the era, and one of the biggest rock bands in music history, play a truly memorable concert.

The MTV Unplugged series ran from 1989 to 1999 and featured artists such as Hole, Alice In Chains, and even Kiss.

Now, the guitar Kurt Cobain used, a 1959 Martin D-18E, is up for auction and is set to fetch over $1 million dollars.
