Weißsee (White Lake) is one of the gems of the Hohe Tauern national park in Austria.
The lake located at the altitude of 2,315 m is a great starting point for mountain hikes,
because it's easily accessible by a cable car.
A two-stage cable car ascends at Enzinger Boden to the Weiss See, a high-altitude beauty spot sheltering under the shadow of the 3086-metre Granatspitze.
