This is pretty much the most special video on the Auditography channel so far. Especially for me. Cause I was a big fan of Ken Block. And I still can’t believe it, and it still hurts me today that he is gone. Together with Audi, we set up this unique videoshoot with his Eletrikhana beast S1 Hoonitron. Thank you for all the people involved making this possible. I’m sure Ken was looking at us from above, enjoying those drifts and tire smoke. Rest in peace Ken. We miss you dearly.

Background story of this car is that Audi built it especially for Ken Block, and the Electirkhana. It took 4 weeks to design and only 6 months turn it to reality.

Car: 2022 Audi S1 Hoonitron
Power: 680hp / 640 Nm / 472 lbft
Battery: Four 14.4 KWH 800v battery packs with total capacity of 57.6 KWH
Powertrain: Two MGU (Motor Generator Units) that spin at 28.000 rpm.
Performance 0-100kmh(62mph): 2.5 seconds
Facts:
- The motors weight only 55kg/121lbs each with transmission included.
- Specially designed TCU ratio at 12:1 - To handle the 3.000 rpm per axle torque
- Batteries were splitter into smaller packs for quick swaps rather than waiting for charging - The weight distribution between front and rear axles is almost equal: 52:48- Power distribution between front & rear is fully variable
- Thanks to these extreme torque figures, its possible to drift the car in more than 200kmhSuspension: With McPherson struts on the front and rear axles and more than 200mm of spring travel is designed for extreme demands and jumping crests.
