the track was written by Jan Hammer for a tv series called "Miaimi Vice". "Crocket" was the surname of a character played by "Don Johnson". A first version was aired in an episode in 1984. In 1987 it was officially released on the second "Original Sound Track" of "Miami Vice".

the release wasn't a huge success in the States but therefor a top ten record more or less all over Europe.

of course we do not own any rights but thought it is a good idea to share our musical roots and so support their / our music
