It’s been a while since I posted a jam up here, things have been busy and I wanted a break after an aborted jamuary. I have been playing a lot though, and have been working on integrating a DAW into my workflow. I wanted to put a jam out today though to (belatedly) celebrate 404 day and show off the new features from the massive update that landed for the SP yesterday.
There had been rumours of a big update but I never expected this-kudos to Roland. The update was a game changer for me, the looper mode and the tone generator are absolutely massive editions and fit straight into my preferred workflow.
Here I am using the new looper mode to get a beat going, before copying it into the 505. I then use the new sound generator to add a sub bass line, then added some OP1 and guitar over it.
