From their beginnings in 1990 out of Norway, ANTESTOR has been committed to extreme Unblack metal and proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. In 1998 their record label dropped them when they found out that ANTESTOR had Christian beliefs. The band has frequently received death threats because of their faith in Christ, especially when they announced their 2013 tour to Brazil.
