In America – coupled with Wooden Heart. It failed to trouble the Billboard Hot-100 but made #2 on their Christmas Singles chart.
In the UK – coupled with White Christmas. It peaked at #11.
The 1968 TV Comeback Special started out as a Christmas Special but Blue Christmas was the only song to retain the Festive spirit.
