Slide Rhythm in Open G


Few things connect you to the blues quite like playing a little bottleneck slide. In the words of Muddy Waters:

I stone got crazy when I saw somebody run down them strings with a bottleneck. My eyes lit up like a Christmas tree and I said that I had to learn. (Muddy)

Me, too.

While I'm not an expert slide player, I find myself playing a lot of rhythmic slide grooves like the one in this video and they are just so much fun.
