The Black Hills National Forest in South Dakota is crosshatched with some of the best off-road trails and the prettiest scenery in the mid-west!
This was our first time in the area and one of the first times having our Toyota FJ Cruiser offroad. The trails range from mild to wild, we stuck more to the moderate ones. We wanted to make sure our rig could make it back to Illinois when we were done! There are so many cool 4x4 trails, you could spend weeks wheeling and never hit them all. We're definitely going back for more as soon as we have the chance!
