One of the newest and most exciting features in Loopcloud has to be Loopcloud MIDI. Not only do you now have access to over 150k MIDI clips, but they are all searchable with Loopcloud's incredible searching and filtering options.
You can find MIDI files using the button on the Search Page or search for the MIDI tag. You can further narrow your search results with any other tags like instrument and genre. Some, but not all, of the auto filters will work as well, like Key, BPM, and Release Date.
When you have a MIDI clip loaded in a track in Loopcloud the tools available are slightly different from when you are working with Audio.
You can adjust the BPM, use the Key Lock Feature and, specific to MIDI, you can choose the instrument preset. At the moment we have Basic, Pluck, Saw, Filtered Saw, Pad and Drums. Loopcloud will do its best to choose the best preset for the loaded MIDI clip. These sounds are just meant to give you an idea of what the MIDI clip could sound like.
No matter your export options, a MIDI clip will always export as a MIDI clip.
