D-Day is a high-octane Indian action thriller about a secret RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) operation to capture India's most wanted criminal, Iqbal Seth aka Goldman (Rishi Kapoor), a powerful underworld don based in Pakistan.
After spending nine years undercover in Karachi, RAW agent Wali Khan (Irrfan Khan) discovers that Goldman will be breaking security protocols to attend his son’s wedding. Seeing an opportunity, RAW chief Ashwini Rao (Nassar) assembles a special team:
• Rudra Pratap Singh (Arjun Rampal), a battle-hardened ex-Indian Army officer
• Zoya Rehman (Huma Qureshi), a demolition expert
• Aslam (Aakash Dahiya), a Mumbai gangster-turned-operative
However, the mission goes awry when Pakistan’s ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) intervenes, leading to a deadly chase. As the agents are abandoned by their own government, they must fight against time, betrayal, and personal loss to complete their mission. The climax delivers a powerful statement on India’s new stance against terrorism.
