Governments are notorious for wasting money on ill-conceived construction projects. The projects often are pushed through for political reasons, rather than them taking place because they are providing a valuable service to the community. Then, once the projects are underway, large amounts of red tape and bureaucracy often make the already poorly planned projects, turn out even worse. This list looks at 10 of the most wasteful projects in recent American history. Seems like we need a Department of Government Efficiency or something like that.
