Alan Dershowitz discusses his extensive legal career, notably his first significant case in 1976 defending the actor Harry Reems, charged with obscenity for his involvement in the adult film, 'Deep Throat.’ He chose not to view the film, maintaining a firm stance on the right of personal choice when it comes to viewing pornographic content. Similarly, he criticizes those who oppose such content to the extent that they wish to deny others the right to view it. Alan goes on to recall his high-profile '84 case defending Klaus von Bülow, wrongly accused of his wife's murder. He also speaks of his involvement in Nelson Mandela's case, detailing efforts to arrange a spy swap to release Mandela, which Mandela eventually declined, preferring to be freed on his own terms.
