It was a banner weekend for Hawai‘i youth baseball, as three teams from the state’s Ripken League captured regional championships on Saturday, earning spots in their respective World Series tournaments.The Manoa All-Stars swept the 9U and 10U regional titles, while Hawai‘i Kai Los Animales, coached by former MLB catcher Dane Sardinha, claimed the 12U crown.
Shakas go out to all of the teams from across the islands competing in regional tournaments, in both baseball and softball, as many continue their championship journeys this summer.
