Formed by Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic in 1995, Sweet 75 released one self titled album in 1997. Due to bad timing at a time when Grunge was well in its dying stages, the album tanked and the band quickly went under as it did not live up to its expectations. The album featured a hodgepodge of musical styles ranging from spanish flamenco guitars to blatant Nirvana rip-offs. Nonetheless, Sweet 75 did have a few good songs that resulted from the "Throw everything at the wall and see what sticks" method.
