Ok i know a few of you guys out there asked me how to solder the LEDs to the HITARI Board. so i show you here in the video. By the way, you do not have to take off all the electronics like i did, just remove the body and place it on its side will do. i only removed everything because i am in the process of extensive modifications like 4WD and full suspension. The rear light blackout slits i did by cutting off the original rear plastic with a heated knife, filing the edges and then i draw a special slitted black out in Autocad and had it lasercut out of 1mm aluminium, painted it black and super glue it to the back. Also please pay attention to the LED polarity , note which leg is + and -, then wire them in series. As you can see, i wired 4 LEDs in series, that means from a source of 6V, each take 2V. The rear LED i also wired in series but paralllel to the front LEDs, so they also each take 2V.
