As PWL entered the 1990s, they came to a crossroads of genre and popularity - their brand of bubblegum pop stood no chance against the rugged and edgier music that the new decade brought. Slowly, PWL's major artists began to leave for other producers and record labels (the only exception being Kylie Minogue, who was the only PWL artist to actually finish their record contract). That doesn't mean 1991 didn't have some great hits for the team, despite Matt Aitken's departure mid-year. I hope you enjoy this mix!
