Recorded during sessions for their upcoming album, 'To The Light' hints at what's to come from the Glasgow-based Nimbus Sextet.In the words of bandleader Joe Nichols:
“Given the mental health issues everyone has had to face as a result of the Covid era, I wanted to write something that evoked the feeling of self-confidence. As musicians, we’ve constantly had to deal with disappointment for the last two years. ‘To The Light’ is about those moments where you feel momentum coming back, relishing the opportunities that come your way, and choosing to celebrate your life, when the light begins to shine upon it again.”
