In the third episode of Egil's Saga (Chapters 22-30) we learn of Thorolf Kveldulfson's death at the hands of King Harald Fairhair and Skallagrim's vengeance for this murder. This story was first written down in Iceland in 1240 AD by "Anonymous" but many people believe it to be the work of Snorri Sturluson.
