🟢 Delay Lama even tho never went out of the beta version did leave its mark in Psytrance and EDM and it’s for a good reason, it does sound unique.

🟢 Today it’s super hard to get it to work because of the age of the software but that doesn’t mean that we can’t emulate its sound in modern synthesizers.

🟩 For this patch I went with the Virus, I used a SAW Wave that I fed into a bandpass filter (I used the first filter) with a lot of resonance and I modulated the filter cutoff with the second envelope to give it that sweepy sound. I set the envelope to long attack, long decay, no sustain or release.

✅ To get the delay lama vibe I used the rate reducer saturation algorithm with a saturation level of about 35 and I gave the patch some space with a nice warm reverb.
