With the support of the Heritage Emergency Fund, from 2022 to 2023, UNESCO strengthened the disaster risk resilience of the Koh Ker World Heritage property by conducting mine clearance, raising awareness and enhancing capacity on the fight against illicit trafficking of cultural property of local stakeholders, as well as providing technical assistance on disaster risk management.
