This is my Tropicana Las Vegas demolition update taken on Friday, January 10, 2025. Today, I start the video on the north west side of the property at the Excalibur Hotel. From here we are able to see the excavators working on the lower building by the front tower. You can see they have the giant jackhammers working on breaking up the original part of the Tropicana. I have heard that it is going to take until about the end of March to finish demolishing the rest of these lower concrete structures. This will place the timeline very close to when the new Las Vegas A's Stadium is supposed to start construction. I then make my way around the pedestrian bridges along Las Vegas Blvd and Tropicana Ave so I can make my way to the OYO to check out the progress from that side of the property and to see if we can see the famous water cooler.
