Odalan (temple aniversary) in Tulamben (Bali, Indonesia), on the 3rd October 2020. While the borders remain closed, and many countries essay different kinds of lockdowns, the Balinese try to carry their normal lives, despite the absence of vital tourism.CoVid didn't medically affect this population (it did, economically), as measures were never taken seriously, nor they were ever needed.

No social distance, intermittent mask wearing, people eating together using their hands... Most of all, notice how everyone takes rice from the same bowls and eat it, after drinking holy water with their hands.
Apart from the CoVid pantomime, and the smaller dimension of this ceremony, it is still a beautiful moment of union and spirituality. Enjoy!
