PROTOTYPER about themselves:
Prototyper create a soundscape rooted in classic 90’s noise rock as well as more recent influences like post-rock and post-punk in equal measures, sometimes by using quite unusual structures - but always by using exciting beats, effective guitar riffs, steamrolling bass and vocals varying from coaxing to full-on aggression. Thematically they oscillate between criticism of politics and society as well as reflections on individual life and it’s fears, resignations and weariness – counteracted by an overwhelming desire and will to stand up and carry on.
The stage is where PROTOTYPER really shine the most. Apart from their own shows in their native country Austria and other european states, they have also shared stages with international touring acts like Life of Agony, Tito&Tarantula, Crowbar, Torche, Dave Lombardo, and many more.
