Welcome back to another exciting episode of A Day in the Life on Heroes Next Door! This week, our host Mike Borrello, an experienced Paramedic and Firefighter, takes you behind the scenes to a drill night at his local volunteer fire station. A huge thank you to the Wagontown Fire Department for allowing us to film this crucial training session.
In this part 2 of a multi-date vehicle rescue training, you'll see our dedicated volunteers working under the guidance of skilled instructors. Watch as they meticulously cut cars, vans, and SUVs apart to learn how to gain access to potentially injured persons trapped inside. Remember, this is a training exercise, so you might witness some mistakes. Rest assured, these were addressed but not shown in the video.
We encourage constructive feedback, so if you have any suggestions to enhance their techniques, please comment below. Just a reminder to be respectful - our volunteers sacrifice their personal time and risk their safety for the community.
