Liminal spaces are those uninhabited, transitionary zones which strike us with an indefinable sense of nostalgia and dread. They generate tension, whilst simultaneously causing memories to rise to the surface. That strange pairing of comfort and unease is what I tried to capture. In the past I'd slow the audio down after recording it. Here, I'm performing each layer at a very low tempo, and filling in the space with an audio delay. No synths.
