"The Shining Ones" is the brainchild of Nolen Chew Jr., founder of The Star Prairie Project. This masterpiece of a concept album by the recording act is their seventh studio album since they emerged out of nowhere in 2019. This is the group's most ambitious project to date, introducing their listeners to the concept of the antediluvian secret priesthood known as the “Shining Ones.” These shamanic priests existed on earth with Homo sapiens in the ancient days. After the flood and the sinking of Atlantis, small bands of seven sages and a shaman leader spread out across the earth—Mesopotamia, Egypt, Meso-America, Hindu Valley, and the Japanese islands—to assist mankind in survival with their secret teachings.

Searching for clues about humanity's origins and destiny, The Star Prairie Project's powerful musical message points to one of the greatest secrets withheld from mankind. The mystical resonance of "The Shining Ones" reveals our most primordial mysteries—Who are we? Why are we here? What is the purpose of our existence? "The Shining Ones" is a musical adventure, delving deep into the most enigmatic of esoteric myths and legends of our pre-history. It is both deep and foreboding, prophetic and exhilarating.

Are the Shining Ones our guardian angels, or are they the fallen angels of the Bible? Where did they come from, and where did they go? Could they be the Anunnaki written of on ancient tablets, or the plumed serpent priests of Mesoamerica? Could their teachings have been the renowned teachings of the mystery schools of Greece and Alexandria? Could their mystical mysteries have been preserved by the Essenes who wrote The Dead Sea Scrolls?

The thirteen-song album, complete with an intro and outro, is stunning from its first note. The gripping intro draws you into the void, and the next thing you know, Marcello Vieira is singing about "androgynous fish beings from the sea!" At this point, it's like, strap in, this is going to be a rush! Song titles like "My Kundalini," "The Ascension Seekers," and "Anunnaki Mind Games" give one a flavor of the hero's journey the listener embarks on when immersing oneself in this metaphysical masterpiece of an album.

The vocals of Marcello Vieira and Sandrine Orsini are pristine and radiant. Nolen’s lyrics are sublime, and the guitar work and production of Ricardo Dikk are masterful. So put on your headphones, recline in your favorite chair, and crank up the volume. You're in for a treat.
