
"Candy Shop" is a moderate-tempo dance track [1] [2] . At the time of its creation, producer Scott Storch was influenced by the music of the Middle East [3] . The song “Love Break” performed by The Salsoul Orchestra was used as a sample Filming took place January 11–12, 2005 in Hollywood, California. According to 50 Cent, "We were trying to do something special" since Trick Daddy's "Sugar (Gimme Some)" video already featured candy. The video stars Olivia (the main dancer) and several models, notably Chessica Cartwright (Domina) [5] , Lyric (nurse) [6] and Erica Mena (girl in bed) [7] . Cameos: Lil Scrappy , former WWE and TNA Knockout Diva Crystal Marshall, Lloyd Banks , Young Buck . On February 2, 2005, the video debuted on MTV 's Total Request Live at number nine, and stayed on the chart for 46 days [8]. The video also reached number 1 on the MuchMusic chart . [9]

In 2011, German band The Baseballs released a rockabilly version of "Candy Shop". The song peaked at number 69 on the Austrian singles chart [10] . The polka medley "Polkarama" by "Weird Al" Yankovic was included on his studio album Straight Outta Lynnwood (2006).
