Hey guys! This is a start to a new series about upgrading/modifying my old 250W Razor E300 E-scooter! In this episode you're guided through on making your own 24V 7S 5P 11Ah 264Watt/hour Li-Ion battery pack for small electric vehicles, this battery pack gets used in the E-scooter seen in the video which previously used x2 12V 7Ah Sealed Lead-Acid batteries. Materials required to build the battery:
• x35 3.7V Lithium-Ion 18650 cells -
• 7S 20A BMS Board (Battery Management System) with connector and wires -
• Nickel spot welding strips -
• XT60 Connector with wires -
• 2-pin white Connector for recharging (included within E300)
• Kapton tape -
• 1-2mm foam sheet -
• 180mm Heat shrink wrapping (tube) -
• 18mm protective paper battery-end rings -
