Sanat (4.17.25) Indian | Arab | Dance SoundsDiving into dance music rooted in Indian / Arab sounds, there has been a lot of interesting and fun dance music coming from these parts of the world for decades now. Often doing “covers” to reinterpret some western songs by adding their own flair to it , sometimes blending disco/funk/psychedelic influences with more grass roots music. There is so much to explore! Then of course there is the current generation which has taken things to a new level by bringing electronic music into the mix. I’ll be devoting some time to the king of Indian Disco Bappi lahiri as well!
