Author Adam Gussow, a professor of English and Southern Studies at the University of Mississippi and blues harmonica teacher and performer, offers a quick overview of his fifth and latest book on the blues. Published by the University of North Carolina Press (2020). Gussow was recently featured in the Netflix documentary "Satan & Adam," along with Sterling "Mr. Satan" Magee (1936-2020), his partner of more than 30 years.
Gussow's current musical project, Sir Rod & The Blues Doctors, features the singing of Sterling Magee's nephew, Rod Patterson:
