Organizing as workers gives us the power to improve our lives in the short-term and abolish capitalism in the long-term. So to say this is an important topic is an understatement!

The only way to end capitalism is for workers to seize the means of production. That takes A LOT of organizing and to reach that level of revolutionary organizing starts with people like you organizing in your workplace. This builds the foundation for revolution.

In the shorter-term, workplace organizing gives us the power to improve our lives by improving conditions at work. And if workers organize between workplaces, we can have a general strike to win demands from government on any issue (social justice, healthcare, climate change, etc.). But it starts by organizing in each individual workplace.

This is my first unscripted video and unfortunately it’s not up to the quality of my scripted videos, so if this is the first thing you’re seeing by me, I hope you check out my other videos.

YouTube limits the length of the video description (maximum 5000 characters), so I couldn’t fit the list of learning resources on organizing that I promised. But don’t worry! If you scroll down to the comment section, you’ll find the list in the pinned comment.
YOU CAN ALSO FIND THE RESOURCE LIST AT THIS LINK:

There’s some great stuff so please do check it out!

If you’re hesitant to try organizing because you lack self-confidence, I made a separate video about this. It’s quite rough/unpolished so don’t expect quality, but hopefully you find it helpful.
