I made a pleasing drone on the Solar 42F, and that made me wonder what it would sound like with acoustic guitar. From there, I could feel the structure of the song emerge. While the acoustic Solar 42F and acoustic guitar performances are single takes each, this is obviously a big multi-tracking performance. Sometimes that's where the music leads you.

A full walkthrough of the Solar 42F patch can be found on my Patreon. In short, the Meris Mercury X provides beautiful reverb; I'm using the Solar 42F's pitched delay for high doubling; the LFO is slowly modulating filter cutoff; and the joystick is controlling pulse width modulation for the lead synth voice, with the X axis for oscillator 1 and the Y axis for oscillator 2. Really fun stuff.
