In the morning hours of June 30, 1908, an explosion releases the energy of 1000 Hiroshima bombs over the Siberian taiga. A gigantic fireball destroys millions of trees and crumbles wildlife to dust.
Since then, dozens of expeditions have been undertaken to find out the cause of the so-called Tunguska event. The mystery remains unsolved to this day.
