Is Troye Sivan switching teams? The 29-year-old gay pop icon took to TikTok to say he is considering dating women after having no luck with his own gender.

Fans were quick to show their excitement, with comments such as ‘Oh my god dreams do COME TRUE’, ‘TROYE PLS PICK MEEE’ and ‘let me be one of your girls troye’, a reference to his hit song ‘One of Your Girls’

Others weren’t so convinced, and saw the playful nature of the TikTok. Lizzo even commented saying ‘Now troye…’

Troye may have been joking, but the video did reveal that the star is finding himself unlucky in love and currently isn’t dating anyone.

His last public relationship was with model Jacob Bixenman, who he dated for four and a half years and split with in 2019. The two are still friends and share custody of their dog, Nash.
