This series of experiments was an attempt to change recordings into another form. Transmutation can be a tricky thing, and the results were often unexpected. The experiments took on a power of their own, growing and changing in beautiful and surprising ways. A vision of life clung to the transformations and blossomed into shape as I worked. Despite a few setbacks and failures, I was able to guide the experiments in such a way as to not harm the recordings themselves during the transmutation process. Experiments were concluded, my notes bound in copper, and the recordings bound in the tree that grew around them.
